The Knights of Castelcorvo

Giulia and Riccardo arrive in Castelcorvo and make friends with two peers, Matteo and Betta. Together, they enter the garden of the Twisted Sisters, two old women everyone believes to be witches, who deliver a copper card with a mysterious riddle that claims this prophecy: "The journey shall end and one of the knights won't be back again. Forgotten will be and nobody ever will look up to him."

Giulia tells Riccardo, Betta and Matteo about the night before. The four decide to sleep together in the garret to find out what comes after midnight. While they share frightening tales, a door never seen before looms up on the wall and the "ghost boy" returns: he explains his name is Andrea, Betta's forgotten brother, and asks for their help to escape from the Stria.

The kids find the mysterious game: the dashboard is the map of Castelcorvo, the boxes fit genuine locations and the pawns are shaped up just like the players themselves. The aim is to find the Morning Key and the Evening Key; the former to enter the Elsewhere, the latter to get out. But first a vow has to be taken to become four champions without stain or fear.

After having been sworn as knights, Riccardo, Giulia, Betta and Matteo have to solve a new mystery to recover the Morning Key. Getting it is not as easy as they believe: the four kids have to pass another test and really prove they are true paladins without stain and without fear.

Giulia, Riccardo, Betta and Matteo have a new puzzle to solve to advance in the game and find the second key. This time the dashboard tells them to look at Aunt Margherita's place, but the guys don't even know where or what to check. It's all about catching what the phrase "One Hundred Alligators Swim All Together in the Aquarium" refers to.

Who is the monster that gobbles everything up and has just one eye that only sees twice a day? The Knights of Castelcorvo must lay aside squabbles and petty grudges to solve a new riddle or else stay prisoners of a time loop, cursed to repeat the same actions and relive the situations indefinitely. Just as in a video game, they must overcome the level to continue the adventure.
