When Stanley reluctantly agrees to baby-sit for his neighbors, the mask somehow gets on Baby's face . . . producing Baby Mask! Baby Mask races away on a high-speed ice cream eating binge with both Stanley and Lt. Kellaway in pursuit. Baby Mask falls in with a motorcycle gang, and his trail leads to Lonnie the Shark and his crime ring fronted by Lonnie's cover as a children's television show host.
When Lt. Kellaway suspects that Stanley and The Mask are one and the same, he handcuffs himself to Stanley in order to keep an eye on Stanley's every move. Now, Stanley must devise a variety of different ways to escape Kellaway's side if he is to defeat a pair of evil mutants.
Stanley discovers a fabled "sister" mask that, when joined with his mask, allows him to control his wild alter-ego. But things go awry when the sister mask reacts unexpectedly and takes The Mask on a wild ride, which includes a mayhem-filled battle with the Army. The Mask discovers Pretorius has built the sister mask in his lab and tricked Stanley into wearing it as a means of remote-controlling The Mask for his own nefarious purposes. In a climactic confrontation, Pretorius' head dons the mask with terrifying results.
Shadows are being stolen from all over Edge City! And everyone whose shadow is stolen loses his or her youth and starts to age rapidly. The Mask discovers that the shadow thief is Skillit, a 4,000-year-old "boy," something between Peter Pan and a vampire, who has known every previous owner of the mask. Skillit wants The Mask to come into Shadowland for fun and games, but The Mask refuses. The Mask insists that Skillit return the shadows--and their owners' youth.
