Investigating a missing person case, Detective Danny Frater is devastated to discover the body at the morgue is his estranged daughter. Jackie Sowden, the pathologist, is convinced it’s a suicide, but Danny is determined to prove otherwise.

Breaking into his daughter's riverside apartment, Danny encounters a fellow trespasser, Nicola, and soon discovers Christina was leading a secret life he knew nothing about.
