UFC 180: Werdum vs. Hunt

Unbeaten as a professional when he entered the Ultimate Fighter house earlier this year, Nicaragua's Leonardo Morales kept his streak of perfection going in the competition, capping off his efforts in the semifinals with a victory over Gabriel Benitez. Now as the only member of Team Werdum in the finals, Morales will be representing himself, his country, and his team tonight against Yair Rodriguez. Chihuahua's Rodriguez is a promising featherweight up and comer who has been studying martial arts since the age of five, when he first picked up Taekwondo. He would later discover MMA, and he could earn a UFC contract if he can defeat Morales.

A former pro soccer player, Team Velasquez' Jose Quinonez went on to study boxing, Muay Thai and Jiu-Jitsu before settling in on an MMA career. In 2014, Quinonez took his shot at glory on The Ultimate Fighter Latin America, and after wins over Bentley Syler and Marco Beltran, he is one victory over Alejandro Perez away from becoming a member of the UFC roster. Despite being only 25 years old, Tlanepantla's Perez was one of the most experienced members of Team Velasquez, and it was that experience that helped propel Perez to wins over highly-touted Fredy Serrano and Guido Cannetti and earned him a shot at a UFC contract in tonight's final against Jose Quinonez.

Best remembered for his Ultimate Fighter 19 war with Cathal Pendred, Hector 'El Toro' Urbina finally gets his chance to shine in the Octagon tonight when he faces fellow striker Edgar Garcia. An eight-year pro, Urbina has never backed down from a challenge on fight night, and he's not about to start now. A native of San Luis Rio Colorado, Garcia is fighting in his home country for the first time since 2010 and this hard-hitting welterweight has won seven of his last eight bouts, earning his call back to compete with the best in the world in the Octagon.

Winner of five of his six bouts since moving to featherweight, Ricardo Lamas has bullied his way to victories over Cub Swanson, Erik Koch and Hacran Dias, putting him in prime position heading into tonight's bout against fellow wrestling standout Dennis Bermudez.

A versatile submission artist, Ecuador's Marlon Vera fights for more than just himself, as he has made it clear that he plans on using the money he makes as a professional fighter to get medical treatment for his three-year-old daughter, who suffers from a rare neurological disorder. Tonight, Vera battles Marco Beltran. A pro since 2008, Michoacan's Beltran initially discovered MMA through boxing, and now that he's hooked, he has his sights set on a long career in the UFC. Winner of a hard-fought bout against Guido Cannetti in the Ultimate Fighter Latin America quarterfinals, Team Velasquez' Beltran is eager to make his Octagon debut tonight against Vera.

Team Werdum member Guido Cannetti is a fearless competitor, something evidenced by the fact that he fought PRIDE and UFC veteran Cristiano Marcello in his second pro fight. Cannetti lost that bout, but he went on to win four straight en route to a spot representing Argentina on The Ultimate Fighter Latin America. Unbeaten in seven straight fights heading into the TUF competition, Tijuana's Henry Briones was chosen as Cain Velasquez' top bantamweight pick, and though he was upset in the quarterfinal round, Briones is a resilient fighter who will come out with a new level of intensity tonight against Cannetti.
