Eleven gamers arrive at McLaren HQ. They recreate the historic 1991 Brazilian Grand Prix where - in one of the all time greatest sporting performances - Ayrton Senna won despite a disintegrating car. Senna's original mechanic oversees the gamers' performance.

Tensions run high as the competition favourite fails to step up to Formula 1's uncompromising standards. This isn't a game any more.

After a battery of physical and psychological tests 5 gamers are sent home. It's a tough call with 6 outstanding candidates and the decision goes to the wire.

The remaining 6 gamers race in the iconic Le Mans 24 Hours. After a gruelling endurance race, the final 2 are selected to test in the McLaren simulator. The winner immediately boards a private jet to Abu Dhabi to begin his new career in Formula 1.

10 of the world's fastest gamers compete to turn gaming skills into a real life racing contract. The journey starts in Las Vegas where the contestants have to choose their weapon from a fleet of dream supercars from Ferrari, Porsche, Lamborghini, Mercedes and Corvette. This isn't a game any more.

The contestants get their first taste of a future racing lifestyle as they travel to the ultimate motorsport country club in Palm Springs. F1 ace and Indy 500 Champion Juan Pablo Montoya oversees their first test in real race cars.

As the competition heats up the contestants face a battery of mental, physical and psychological tests before heading to the West's oldest racetrack in Willow Springs. Tension mounts as the first eliminations loom.

The contestants face their deepest fears as they're confronted with 800 horsepower dirt track sprint cars , 'It's like a tractor, a tractor that's trying to kill you'.

Pressure mounts as the legendary Laguna Seca circuit and its famous Corkscrew await the remaining competitors. This is their last chance to impress the judges in real race cars before a high stakes sim race in San Francisco where the finalists are chosen. 

We return to Las Vegas for the final race. F1 and Indycar aces Juan Pablo Montoya and Rubens Barichello crown the winner who now joins a pro team for a full season of racing with F1 Champion Jenson Button's race team, Jenson Team Rocket RJN
