Jake Maskall

Jake Maskall was an actor known best for his roles in the soap opera "EastEnders" (1985) and "The Royals" (2015). Maskall was born in Essex, England. His early roles included guest-starring roles in "Casualty" (1986) and "Murder City" (2004). Maskall's first notable role came in the BBC soap opera "EastEnders" (1985), where he played ladies' man and bad boy Danny Moon. He first appeared on the long-running soap in 2004 and remained a staple until his character was run out of town seven months later. He returned to "EastEnders" for a brief stint in March 2006 only to have his character killed off. In the summer of 2006, Maskall starred alongside fellow ex-"EastEnders" cast member Michael Greco in the independent thriller "Naked in London" (2006). In 2009, he appeared as Sir Henry Pole in the Showtime period drama, "The Tudors" (2007). From there, Maskall was cast as the co-star in the action thriller "Moving Target" (2011), about a man attempting to win a bet by running an impossible distance in two hours. His biggest role came when he was made a star of the cheeky drama series "The Royals" (2015) as Cyrus, a member of a very dysfunctional fictional British royal family.
