Tom Stevenson

Tom Stevenson was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Stevenson's earliest roles were in film, including "Nine Lives Are Not Enough" (1941) with Ronald Reagan, the spy thriller "Across the Pacific" (1942) with Humphrey Bogart and the mystery "Counter-Espionage" (1942) with Warren William. He also appeared in the Don Ameche drama "Happy Land" (1943). He continued to act in productions like the adaptation "Gaslight" (1944) with Charles Boyer, the Bette Davis drama "Mr. Skeffington" (1945) and "The Beginning or the End" (1947). He also appeared in "The Lone Wolf in London" (1947) with Gerald Mohr. Nearing the end of his career, he tackled roles in the comedic fantasy "Mr. Peabody and the Mermaid" (1948) with William Powell, "The Luck of the Irish" (1948) and the Glenn Ford comedy "The Mating of Millie" (1948). He also appeared in the adaptation "When My Baby Smiles at Me" (1948) with Betty Grable. Stevenson more recently worked on the horror film "Iced" (1988) with Debra Deliso. Stevenson passed away in October 2004 at the age of 94.
