Millicent Martin

Millicent Martin was an actress who had a successful Hollywood career. Martin's career in acting began with her roles in various films like the Dirk Bogarde dramatic adaptation "Libel" (1959), the comedy "The Girl on the Boat" (1961) with Norman Wisdom and the Alan Bates dramedy "Nothing But the Best" (1964). She also appeared in the comedy adventure "Those Magnificent Men in Their Flying Machines" (1965) with Stuart Whitman, the Michael Caine dramedy "Alfie" (1965) and "Stop the World -- I Want to Get Off" (1966). She also appeared in the TV special "A Broadway Christmas" (Showtime, 1990-91). Following that project, she worked on "Murphy Brown" (1988-1998), "Coach" (1989-1997) and "Will & Grace" (NBC, 1998-). Recently, she tackled roles on "The Suite Life of Zack & Cody" (Disney, 2005-08) and "Modern Family" (ABC, 2009-). She also was featured in the TV movie "Return to Halloweentown" (Disney, 2006-07). Martin most recently acted in "The Last Word" (2017).
