Emily Wickersham

Known to many for her role on the procedural series "NCIS" (CBS, 2003-), Emily Wickersham grew up in Mamaroneck, New York. She participated in sports like track and soccer during high school, but by the time she enrolled at Muhlenberg College in Allentown, Pennsylvania, she felt unsure of what she wanted for her future. Wickersham dropped out after two years, and in her search for a new direction, she enrolled in acting classes. Performance turned out to be a great fit, and she eventually signed on with an agent. Wickersham began her career with small appearances on shows like "Parco P.I." (Court TV, 2005-06) and in movies like "Gardener of Eden" (2007). Wickersham's first big break came when she was cast in the recurring role of Rhiannon Flammer on the acclaimed series "The Sopranos" (HBO, 1999-2007). Soon, she was appearing in films like "Definitely, Maybe" (2008) and "How I Got Lost" (2009). In 2012, she appeared alongside Amanda Seyfried in the kidnapping-themed thriller "Gone" (2012). In 2013, Wickersham was cast on the long-running series "NCIS," replacing the departing Cote de Pablo. Though her role was originally written to appear in a single episode, Wickersham was immediately promoted to a recurring role.
