Meagan Good

A gorgeous, gifted performer, Meagan Good was able to gracefully make the difficult transition from child and teen star to adult working actress. Born in Panorama City, CA, Meagan Monique Good made her film debut in "Friday" (1995), but achieved her Image Award-nominated breakthrough in the spellbinding "Eve's Bayou" (1997) as a sexually charged teenager who may or may not have been molested by her father (Samuel L. Jackson). Good went on to land a series regular role on the kid-friendly sitcom "Cousin Skeeter" (Nickelodeon, 1998-2001) and recurred on such shows as "The Famous Jett Jackson" (Disney Channel, 1998-2001), "Raising Dad" (The WB, 2001-02) and "My Wife and Kids" (ABC, 2001-05). She played a schoolgirl spy in "D.E.B.S." (2004), showed off her dancing skills in "You Got Served" (2004), "Roll Bounce" (2005) and "Stomp the Yard" (2007), and impressed as femme fatales in the high school-set noir "Brick" (2005) and in the action flick "Waist Deep" (2006). While Good scored hits with roles in "Saw V" (2008) and the comedy "Jumping the Broom" (2011), she also appeared in the less-than-successful horror flop "One Missed Call" (2008) and Mike Myers' big-budget misfire "The Love Guru" (2008). Happily, the actress rebounded with a fun turn in the ensemble romantic comedy "Think Like a Man" (2012), recurred on "Californication" (Showtime, 2007-14), and booked the starring role on her own series, "Deception" (NBC, 2012-13), playing a detective investigating the murder of a wealthy friend.
