Teresa Ganzel

Teresa Ganzel is a petite, blond, googly-eyed actress and stage comic whose Kewpie-doll voice has livened up dozens of zany cartoons and award-winning commercials. She got her start in the 1980s, when she began to crop up as racy, busty babes and ditzy gals in such blue-humored films as the French-farce remake "The Toy," the spirited spoof mélange "National Lampoon's Movie Madness" and the bizarre horror send-up "Transylvania 6-5000." In short order, she became a comically glitzy mainstay of variety television, appearing as herself and various outlandish caricatures on, among others, the star-studded "The (New) $25,000 Pyramid" and the iconic "The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson." After a short-lived role opposite Jim Carrey on "The Duck Factory," the forgotten cartoonist-sitcom gem, Ganzel focused increasingly more on her voice work. In 2001, she lent her pipes to the wildly imaginative animated hit "Monsters, Inc," kicking off a successful partnership with the inimitable Pixar Animation Studios that has seen her provide an array of sounds and creature effects for such other critical darlings as the heartrending "Up," the avant-garde "Wall-E," and the cathartic "Toy Story 3."
