Featuring charismatic and energetic Sydney Veterinarians, Dr. Chris Brown and Dr. Lisa Chimes, BONDI VET is an unscripted 16-part, half hour television series, set against the breathtaking backdrop of one of Australia's most famous landmarks, Bondi Beach. Chronicling the adventures of Dr. Chris, who lives and works in the world-famous beachside suburb of Bondi, BONDI VET allows viewers a unique insight into the world of one of Sydney's busiest vets and the animals he devotes his days to caring for and treating. For those animals that require specialist services, Dr. Chris calls on his good friend and colleague Dr. Lisa Chimes at SASH - the small animal specialist hospital. Dr. Lisa is able to provide specialist services including general medicine, surgery, ophthalmology, neurology and anesthesia and she also has access to purpose built surgical theatres with state of the art equipment for bone and joint surgery, soft tissue surgery and eye surgery. This season the audience will meet a host of new characters, including a dwarf pony, a miniature pig and we will even travel with Dr. Chris as he heads to Africa to tag Rhinos. Audiences are exposed to unusual, unexpected and extraordinary "tails" of animals, and of course their owners, all through the eyes of these dedicated vets, adored by their clients, both the quadruped and bi-ped types. From cats to crustaceans to canaries, BONDI VET will show how these vets save the lives of animals that are ill or have suffered serious injury. Each episode delivers not only a carefully crafted mix of human and animal interest stories, but will also feature a variety of animals that undergo elective procedures to long-term treatments involving the most intricate and technologically advanced surgery.
