Celebrity Island with Bear Grylls

Bear Grylls abandons ten celebrities on an uninhabited island in the pacific. Marooned with just a handful of basic tools, they must survive entirely on their own wits.

Without fire, food or shelter and lashed by a succession of tropical storms, the celebs are a soaking, miserable mess. While RJ Mitte and Lucy Mecklenburgh are desperate to make fire, Ryan Thomas and Iwan Thomas decide to prioritise shelter.

After two weeks on the island, ravaged by hunger, mosquitoes and sand flies, tensions build in camp. The others feel that musician Jordan Stephens is not pulling his weight.

After nearly three weeks on the island, the celebrities are still without shelter, ravaged by insect bites and lack of sleep. When the group starts to build a communal bed, Melody Thorton decides she wants one of her own.

Only six celebrities remain on the island. A check-up by the doctor reveal that the celebrities are alarmingly under weight and could be at risk of organ failure.

Bear Grylls returns to find out how the ten celebs coped when pushed to the edge of existence and left to fend for themselves in the wild. Four celebs crumble and quit the island, leaving just six survivors to welcome Bear to their camp.
