Daisy Jones, a disaffected teenager, makes her way into the rock scene on the Sunset Strip. In the suburbs of Pennsylvania, Billy Dunne, his brother Graham and friends Eddie and Warren form a band to escape.

After finding her voice and the confidence to use it, Daisy navigates the treacherous waters of the LA music scene with the help of her dear friend Simone. Legendary music producer Teddy Price is equally happy to help.

A recently recovered Billy tries to balance music with family responsibilities, while the rest of the band pick up the pieces after a disastrous tour. Daisy finds it harder to compose music.
