Australian comedy series set in the world of tabloid journalism. Alex gets an interview with superstar musician and environmentalist Wasp Warneke on one condition - that he doesn't ask about Wasp's love of tantric sex, but he's a tabloid journalist, so if he doesn't get the story on tantra he doesn't have a story.

Rugged A-list actor Oliver Barry is in town and Alex has an interview with him, but it doesn't go well. When Barry gets caught in a sting by paparazzi and Alex and Bob help him escape they find themselves becoming friends with him. But it's also a second chance for them to get the dirt.

Alex and Bob need to get a photo of a tennis star who has faked a finger injury to get out of a match, but they don't have the code to the lift in his hotel and security is tight. On top of that, Alex has got a wart where a wart shouldn't be and Dr James thinks it might be herpes.

When a drug-addled singer poisons someone who has been stealing her act and then heads for rehab, Alex and Bob are sent undercover up the Yarra river to the clinic to get the scoop. Meanwhile, Bob is asking some serious questions about his own sexuality, which is beginning to make Alex uncomfortable.

When bigshot radio presenter Jack Cooper is arrested for urinating in public, Alex is sent to his house to doorstep him, after he had been on his way to see `Phantom of the Opera 2' instead. Alex and Bob weren't expecting to be let in and given a drink by Mrs Cooper. Or to be serenaded by her. Or to be shown her `Doctor Who' memorabilia. Or to get the scoop of the year.

When the Sunday Sun gets hold of secret footage of top golfer Mike Lavish cheating during a tournament, Alex is sent to catch him out. But they get on quite well until Alex accidentally knocks him into a coma.
