Saul of the Mole Men

A team formed to drill to the center of the Earth, encounters trouble along the way; the survivors stumble upon caves filled with mole men.

Saul wants to wear a hollowed out body as a disguise so he can get near enough to the antenna to contact STRATA.

A sentient rock tells Saul that he is destined to be the leader of the Mole Men; Johnny Tambourine is elected King.

Saul is jailed for assaulting Johnny Tambourine, and must endure a trial; Bertrum proposes a plan which needs a geologist's consultation.

The worm releases Saul, who does not know if he should approve Project Thunderhole; Bertrum throws a party to celebrate.

Saul is mesmerized by the beauty of an ugly mutant, and proceeds to imagine a date between the two of them.
