The River

While playing by the river near her house, young Silja discovers a disembodied arm. In an attempt to avoid getting involved, her parents leave an anonymous tip for the police. However, later that night Silja suddenly vanishes.

Despite being warned not to, Thomas starts to investigate Silja's death, discovering a seemingly abandoned sawmill that holds some disturbing secrets.

When a suspect is shot during an arrest before the police can question him, Thomas begins to question if the police force are under the authority of the military.

When clues start to point towards Thomas' own family, people try to interfere with the investigation to prevent him from revealing the truth.
