Kiyoshi Adachi, a 30 year old virgin, gains the power to read the thoughts of people he touches; he accidentally reads the thoughts of his colleague, Kurosawa Yuichi.

Adachi misses the last train while working late and is pressured into staying the night at Kurosawa's place.

After hearing Kurosawa's thoughts, Adachi learns that his feelings for him are genuine; when the office goes drinking together, Adachi and Kurosawa suddenly find themselves much closer.

Two weeks after he nearly kissed Kurosawa, Adachi desperately avoids being alone with him; Adachi and Fujisaki are harassed by thugs while shopping.

Adachi believes that hearing the thoughts of the people around him may be an opportunity for him to change; in order to rescue Kurosawa, he uses his power for the sake of another for the first time.

Adachi agrees to let Kurosawa stay at his place for a while; Kurosawa realizes he can't control his feelings for Adachi anymore; Minato's sudden disappearance leaves Tsuge in agony.
