In Israel, in 1961, Adam Stein was interned in a psychiatric hospital for Holocaust survivors. He remembers his past where he was, before the war, in Berlin, the owner of a circus but also a musician and a magician, adored by the Nazis and the public. Until the day he is sent to a concentration camp with his wife and daughter.
