Don't Let It Kill You
This film takes a sensitive look at a man who's at the turning point of his life, marred by death and disillusion. The character's condition and his concerns are linked to the complex situation of his country, Canada, and he'd like to change the course of events. "Lefebvre's film shows an extraordinary command of the visual matter and invisible substance. He's desperately trying to denounce the secret, to decipher it with no other means than the viewer's intelligene," wrote Pierre Perreault.
