Toto and Adib are devastated by their mother's unexpected death. Fred, an old alcoholic, stoner friend, agrees to take them in for a while, but things do not bode well for either the two brothers or for Fred.

After meeting Fred, Nanou's interest is aroused, but she has other priorities right now: her grandmother is up to her old tricks, while Mario, her best customer, is waiting for her in a shady motel and she is already late.

Adib feels more and more alone, and Toto is not really much help. He therefore decides to get back to football after two weeks away, and is surprised to find it a real comfort.

Corinne's life in her beige, fragrant family home is suffocating her. An unexpected visit from her former lover causes mayhem, destabilising her perfect little family.

All Toto wants is to have a drink in peace and forget his problems. Nevertheless, Fred convinces him to relax and have a break in Miami. But the more he tries to flee reality, the quicker it catches up with him.
