Yorito Morimiya is a high school student who loves photographing the sky. One night, he meets Matsuri Shihou, who turns out to be an immortal being known as a "Yaka" ("Calamity of the Night") and is being chased by Takeshi Tsujidou, who is trying to kill her. Yorito brings her to his home to protect her, and as they fall in love, their relationship deepens and Matsuri reveals her long and tragic past.
