Da Rim, the youngest in a modest family that runs a dry cleaner's, is battling an eye condition. She learns she will lose her sight unless she undergoes an $800,000 injection treatment. Amidst this hardship, she crosses paths with Gang Ju, a college classmate and the son of a wealthy family.

Da Rim\u2019s doctor has diagnosed that she will lose her sight if she doesn\u2019t undergo an $800,000 treatment. Unable to share the devastating news with her family, she hopes to win the lottery to cover the costs. Gang Ju reappears in her life, and their paths cross again, seemingly by fate.

Gang Ju and Da Rim have a quarrel, leading to a minor accident. With no other option, Da Rim accepts Gang Ju\u2019s help to return to the dry cleaner\u2019s. Tae Woong, who sees Da Rim as a sister, becomes furious with Gang Ju upon learning what happened. Meanwhile, Bong Hee goes to see the eye doctor.

Man Deuk and Gil Rye get lost on Mount Euak, and as they search for a way out late into the night, they come across Gil Soon digging a hole to bury a large bag. Suspecting it contains a dead body, they decide to open the bag, only to be shocked by what they find inside.

Da Rim's family gets into heated arguments over the 800,000 dollars needed for her eye treatment, and Da Rim, feeling guilty, goes out to drink alone. As she drinks late into the night, she realizes she doesn't have enough money to pay and calls Gang Ju for help.

Man Deuk and Gil Rye attend a friend's funeral and, upon seeing Gil Soon's funeral photo, the person who buried the bags of money at Mount Euak, they realize he has passed away. After giving it some thought, they decide to head to Mount Euak where the money is hidden.
