Yomi, a baseball pitcher with a signature throw no one can catch, begins to lose hope that she can find a suitable teammate, until a chance reunion with an old friend, Tamaki, reignites her spark.

As the baseball club adds freshman recruits, Yomi and Tamaki hope to retain some upperclassmen.

When some unexpected recruits arrive for practice, the team's prospects start looking very good.

The newly-formed team plays their first practice match and proves these underdogs aren't to be overlooked.

Hoping a training camp will fix some of their problems, the girls learn the hard way that there's no quick fix to becoming a winning team.
