Kyle Catlett

Achieving impressive levels of professional success before he'd even reached his teens, actor Kyle Catlett was born in New Jersey. In addition to his native English, the precocious Catlett was already simultaneously learning Russian from his mother when around age four, he heard another child speaking Mandarin and begged to learn that language as well. His parents enrolled him in classes and by age six, the active Catlett was using his trilingual skills to boost his competitive martial arts training, giving full interviews in Mandarin. A natural performer, Catlett persuaded his parents to give him the chance to audition for parts as a child actor, and he landed his first TV role in 2009 with an appearance on the medical drama "Mercy" (NBC, 2009-2010). He soon followed it with another guest appearance on "Unforgettable" (CBS, 2011-16) before snagging the role of Joey Matthews on the first season of "The Following" (Fox, 2013-15) in 2013. Around this same time, Catlett was given his first part in a feature film, winning the starring, title role in "The Young and Prodigious T.S. Spivet" (2013) alongside Helena Bonham Carter. He would go on to play Griffin Bowen in the remake of "Poltergeist" (2015), and appear as the young Arthur on the TV series "The Tick" (Amazon, 2017-).
