The Sands of Time

S1 E4: How resilient are you? Do you need to toughen up, princess? Five inner city recruitment agents are about to discover the true meaning of a cut-throat environment in a gruelling test of outback survival. They are lead by top corporate psychologist, Dr. Travis Kemp, who believes in the power of placing people under extreme pressure in the wilderness. Perth is booming. There are plenty of jobs and a shortage of skilled workers - rich pickings for a recruitment agency, but this is a highly competitive, dog eat dog business. Office People is a small, relatively new recruitment agency. It is staffed by young and inexperienced recruitment agents. How might they cope if boom turns to bust? Would they be tough enough to survive and adapt? Kahlia, Linda, Annabel and twin sisters Brooke and Monique have decided that a bit of corporate team building in the bush might provide the answer. Little do they realise they are throwing themselves into a survival scenario that will prove to be the biggest challenge of their lives. After travelling for over four hours South, the girls from office people find themselves heading down an increasingly narrow dirt road. Over the next few days they will have to work out what to do, where to go, how to conserve their food and most importantly how to get back to safety in a dangerously and inhospitable landscape. In doing so, they will not only confront what it means to be lost in the wilderness but also the core issues in their business.
