Charcoal

A family in São Paulo’s countryside accepts a mysterious guest into their home, only to discover he’s a wanted Argentine drug lord. With their house his new-found hideout, the family must learn how to live with a dangerous criminal while keeping up the illusion of an unchanged routine to their neighbors. Written and directed by Carolina Markowicz in her feature debut, Charcoal stars Maeve Jinkings (Love, Plastic and Noise), Camila Márdila (The Second Mother) and Cesar Bordon (Wild Tiles).
