Mihashi is forced to join the baseball team at his new school; however, he manages to make friends with catcher Abe.

The baseball team attends a training camp where they make preparations for their first match against Mihashi's old school; Abe realises that his catcher's role is just as important off the pitch.

Pitcher and catcher must learn to trust each other, but Mihashi still doubts himself due to bullying and scorn from his former teammates.

Mihashi is nervous as he takes the mound against his old teammates who aren't his biggest fans any more.

Mihashi is locked in a pitcher's duel with an old backup; Abe gets himself at the centre of all the action.
