Deadly 60
Available on BBC iPlayer
Wildlife presenter Steve Backshall heads out on a global journey - taking him from the Arctic Circle to Antarctica - and encounters a number of deadly animals along the way. Backshall and his crew visit all seven continents on the trip, tackling some of the planet's most challenging terrains, including ice climbing in the high Arctic. Some of the animal encounters Backshall experiences are getting closer to a polar bear than he planned and going free diving with a great white shark off the coast of Mexico. In addition to searching for deadly animals, Backshall experiences some of Earth's deadliest forces of nature, including feeling the full effect of hurricane-force winds and exploring a flooded cave.
