The birth of a baby changes a family's dynamic. This drama series takes a look at the process through six very different couples - or individuals - who have bonded at parenting classes during the final trimester of their pregnancies. Each parent-to-be has their own set of issues, ranging from teenager Rosie, who is hiding her pregnancy from everyone, to 46-year-old businesswoman Roanna, who is adding a baby to her family that already includes two grown children. Others experiencing challenging pregnancies include single midwife, Vicky, who wants to get married before her child's arrival, and same-sex couple Kim and Susie, who are dealing with their teenaged son's concerning behaviour toward their growing family.
