Lookalikes

Structured reality series examining the work of an agency for celebrity impersonators, featuring actors whose careers are founded on their resemblance to stars as diverse as Gordon Ramsay, Barack Obama, and Ed Sheeran. The agency is run by Andy Harmer, who is a David Beckham `lookalike' himself, and the programme follows his attempts to revitalise both his business and the niche of impersonator acting as a whole. Much like the real fame that it shadows, the industry is unpredictable and unforgiving as celebrities fall out of favour, and Andy must have some difficult conversations as he hires and fires to keep the agency up to date.
