Love in the Moonlight

Ra On, living as a boy named Sam Nom, is paid to help lovers find each other. Lee Yeong decides to play hooky.

Ra On, still living as a boy named Sam Nom, enters the palace as a eunuch but cannot manage to get out.

Ra On is surprised to learn she has passed the exam. The king decides to make Lee Yeong, the crown prince, his regent.

Lee Yeong, the crown prince, is tasked with planning festivities to celebrate the king's 40th birthday. Ra On learns the true identity of the Flower Scholar.

Ra On tries to slip away from the king's birthday celebration, but her disappearance is noted by Lee Yeong. After he rescues her from the pond, she begs his forgiveness.

A confused Lee Yeong begins to treat Ra On much more coldly than before. Ra On heads to Mok Tae Gam, accompanied by Ma Jong Ja.
