The Blooms at Ruyi Pavilion

While staking out a masked man's place while disguised as a fortune teller, Fu Rong is asked by Xu Jin to predict when he will die.

Fu Rong once again finds herself captured by Xu Jin while trying to steal some of his clothes to burn and vanquish her negative energy.

Fu Rong sneaks out of Ju Shui's manor and bumps into Xu Jin, who is on high alert after almost being assassinated. Fu Rong argues that letting her burn his clothes would get them out of both of their predicaments.

Fu Rong and Xu Jin overhear Qi Ce talking about the three failed assassination attempts. Xu Jin enlists Wu Bai Qi to go undercover at a brothel to investigate Qi Ce.

Qi Ce is arrested for plotting again Xu Jin, but he doesn't appear to be the mastermind. Meanwhile, Xu Jin has an awkward meeting with his mother, who he only sees once a month.

Qi Ce commits suicide in exchange for his sister to find safety as a royal maid. Meanwhile, Fu Rong takes Ju Shui to make a wish by the lake.
