Philippa Packard, an English teacher living in Rome, bombs the office building of a drug-dealing businessman, responsible for the deaths of her husband and pupils, but the plan goes tragically wrong. A young Carabiniere, witnessing Packard's remorse after her arrest, falls in love and decides to help her escape.
