Bookaboo is a puppy who loves to play the drums. In fact, he tours all over the world to play concerts. There's just one catch, though -- he can't perform until he hears a story. (`A story a day or I just can't play', he's fond of saying.) In each episode one of his celebrity fans pays a visit to Bookaboo on his tour bus to share a picture book with him, and when they are finished, the canine with the quick hands is properly motivated to rock out.
