It is said that those who can't do, teach. But what about those who can't do - or teach? Variously labeled as a deadbeat by his ex-girlfriend, a failure by his mother, and a shell of himself by his best friend, Lousy Carter (David Krumholtz), is having a hard time getting anybody on his side. Not to mention he’s been given six months to live. Once a film prodigy full of potential, Carter has nothing but complicated relationships, debt and a 13-year-old passion project that never got off the ground. He’s cast adrift on a soulless college campus when one of his students offers him one last chance at living out his dream – an opportunity he can’t refuse.
