Ice Lake Rebels

With the winter freeze only days away, Stephan and Allyce struggle to secure the problematic floats that are tilting their houseboat. Meanwhile, newbies, Iman and Jessica, discover that living in a houseboat during freeze-up can be life-threatening.

Randy hunts for caribou for the last time before winter sets in; Brian and Henry begin their quest to fill nine empty freezers with fish; Pike Mike shares local fishing techniques with Stephan and Allyce.

After helping Henry and Brian with their Bombardier, Stephan pleads for their help; when Allyce has not heard from him, her panic sets off a chain reaction forcing Ranger Randy, Pike Mike and Ragnar to launch a frantic search party.

The temperature is plummeting when Stephan and Allyce return from a fishing expedition and discover that their houseboat has no heat and their pipes are freezing.

The end of winter storms provides some relief, but food is still scarce until the spring thaw, so Ragnar goes hunting for bear. Meanwhile, Stephan and Allyce hope to find fish in the open lake; and Randy gets creative to set his snares.

As the rebels participate in the annual lake games event, they hone their survival skills by building fires, throwing axes, and pulling toboggans as well as other events that pair up technical expertise with good-old-fashioned Northern ingenuity.
