S5 E5: The Muppet Show cast is thrilled – and slightly nervous – about having “tough guy” guest star James Coburn on the show. But when James shows Animal the correct way to destroy a chair, Animal is wowed and becomes his eager pupil. Teaching Animal how to relax and become a Zen percussionist is harder though – especially when he gets hold of a gong! This extremely serene episode includes a salute to the Roaring ’20s featuring Big Jimmy and Gonzo; Banana Nose Maldonado in Bear on Patrol; and a running octopus joke!
