Jack Sheldon

Jack Sheldon worked on a variety of projects during his entertainment career. Sheldon worked on a variety of projects during his early entertainment career, including "For the Boys" (1991) starring Bette Midler, "Let's Get Lost" (1989) starring Chet Baker and "Love Streams" (1984) starring Gena Rowlands. He also contributed to "The Cara Williams Show" (CBS, 1964-65), "The Las Vegas Show" and "The Simpsons" (Fox, 1989-). In the nineties, Sheldon devoted his time to various credits, such as "Merv Griffin's New Year's Eve Special" "Noises Off" (1992) and "Radioland Murders" (1994). He also worked on "Dear God" with Greg Kinnear (1996). Sheldon continued to exercise his talent in the nineties and the early 2000s, taking on a mix of projects like "Johnny Bravo" "Hard Time" (TNT, 1998-99) and "Disney's Teacher's Pet" (2004) starring Nathan Lane. His credits also expanded to "King of California" with Michael Douglas (2007). Most recently, Sheldon appeared on "Trying to Get Good: The Jazz Odyssey of Jack Sheldon" (2008). But he would perhaps best remain known for his vocal work on several of ABC's "Schoolhouse Rock" shorts most notably "I'm Just A Bill" which he parodied on an episode of "The Simpsons" (Fox 1989-) in 1996. Jack Sheldon died on December 27, 2019 in Cypress, CA at the age of 88.
