Khan Chittenden

Khan Chittenden is a New Zealand-born actor who was introduced to American audiences as Tim in the Sundance Film festival hit "Introducing the Dwights." His character is the son of an aspiring comedienne and a former country singer, trying to impress his love while escaping his humiliating parents. This was the first Australian film ever to open on July 4th weekend in the U.S. and led to his first role in an American film, "Endless Bummer." Before "Introducing the Dwights," Chittenden had small television appearances and commercial work, leading him to his first role as a series regular. In 2005, Chittenden was cast in the Australian television series "Blue Water High," which followed seven teenage surfers who attend a high school with a surfing training facility in hopes of entering the professional circuit following graduation. Chittenden played the part of Dean "Edge" Edgely, who is described as a tough, fierce competitor who wins the wild card to turns pro at the end of the season. Chittenden has continued his work in television, becoming a regular on two popular Australian series. He played the lead role of Dean in the only season of "Dangerous," airing in 2007, and Frank "The Little Gunman" Green on the crime drama "Underbelly."
