School Days

S2 E14: A trainee who has his doubts about his readiness to become a paramedic is assigned to Johnny Gage (Randolph Mantooth) and Roy DeSoto (Kevin Tighe), in "School Days,” on "Emergency! “. Bill Hanks (Kip Niven) has just finished a training course at Rampart under the supervision of Dr. Brackett (Robert Fuller), Dr. Early (Bobby Troup) and Nurse McCall (Julie London). The paramedics’ first call is to rescue Dr. Temple, who is pinned under a bookcase, but Hank feels he has bungled his job. As the three go from one accident to the next, Gage and DeSoto do their utmost to give Hank courage. When they rescue a man who was crushed when his car rammed an ambulance, Hank feels that he has graduated. However, Gage and DeSoto give the young man further advice.
