Popeye meets himself walking down the street toward Olive's house, where he has been invited to a hamburger feast. Bewildered and then angry when Olive mistakes the masquerading Popeye for him. Popeye unmasks the fraud and discovers that it's Wimpy, whose fondness for hamburgers knows no restraint of ethics or appetite. / Persuaded by Olive Oyl that the public might like them in a different role, Popeye and Bluto attempt to be sophisticated men-about-town. Their best intentions wind up causing their most rambunctious fight in a long while. Olive discards her veneer of gentility and joins in the fray. / Swee'pea leaves home after Popeye spanks him. When he gets involved in some hair-raising situations, he is forced to call Popeye for help. The startled gob dashes to the rescue.
