Song For You
Barcelona, 1966. Laia is a law student at the University of Barcelona. She works part time in the University library to help cover her tuition, and writes songs in her free time. Laia starts dating Ignasi, a student who is committed to the clandestine fight against the Franco regime and through him, she meets David, a young man from a well-to-do family who writes Ignasi's speeches and the texts of the leaflets that are distributed around the university. Although at the start Laia has no patience with David, she gradually finds herself attracted to him. As the years pass the two friends, Ignasi and David, take different ideological paths, and Laia triumphs in the song world. However, though her dream has come true she somehow still hasn't found true happiness.
