Oh Crappy Day

Jared is an aspiring young filmmaker with a severe case of OCD -- so severe, in fact, that he had to give up film school. He now works as a wedding videographer with his best friend, Marcus, one of the few people aware of his issue. Not surprisingly, Jared has been challenged in the romance department -- so he tries a dating website, thinking it might give him more control "over the process." Unfortunately, his OCD has other ideas, and his dates keep getting derailed by his compulsion to wash his hands. Even with encouragement from Marcus and Marcus’ girlfriend, Meghan, Jared starts to lose hope. Love seems out of the question until he gets knocked over -- both literally and figuratively -- by a woman named Katie, a charming young librarian who works with Meghan. To Jared's delight, Katie seems able and willing to accept him the way he is. As he soon discovers, though, Katie has a psychological issue of her own, and he has to decide whether he can overcome his OCD to be with her.
