Pretty Dead

The hard work Regina has put in throughout her life was beginning to really pay off – she passed the state medical exam and her boyfriend Ryan just proposed - until the day she woke up with an insatiable appetite for human flesh. While attempting to unlock the mystery of her new condition, she begins to discover links between a parasitic fungus and her newfound cravings. After a failed suicide attempt, she finds herself a ward of the state and under the care of Dr. Daniel Romera. She is diagnosed with “Walking Corpse Disease, ” a dissociative psychological disorder in which the patient believes they are actually dead and will often go to horrific lengths to prove it. But is she really just crazy or is it something else that drives her to kill and eat?
