Rich in Love

RICH IN LOVE is the story of Teto (Danilo Mesquita), the 20-something heir to a Brazilian tomato sauce fortune. He sleeps late, and when he finally wakes, he sometimes finds a young woman in his bed whose name he doesn't remember. Employees clean up his messes. His father gives him a $60,000 car for his birthday. Another gift is a job as an executive at Dad's company, but that spot is made available by firing a young go-getter named Monique (Lelle), the hardworking woman who actually earned the job. Teto has no interest in working until he meets another hardworking woman, Paula (Giovanna Lancellotti), a young doctor who worked her way up from nothing. To make sure that she likes him for who he is rather than because he's rich, he elaborately fools her, pretending to be a poor janitor toiling through a training program at his father's company, which could lead to a job there. He competes against his best friend/employee Igor (Jaffar Bambirra) for the job, but persuades Igor to pose as Teto, the company owner's son, so Teto can win the job on his own merits. Will Teto learn to be a better person and find love?
