Hendrix began her career as a model and dancer before a car accident, while she was riding her bicycle, dashed her career hopes. In the "Saturday Night Live" spinoff "Superstar," Hendrix played a rival cheerleader of Molly Shannon. In the inventor sleuth sequel "Inspector Gadget 2," she survived substantial mayhem as a robotic love interest. In the new spin on the story of the girl who hears God speaking to her, "Joan of Arcadia," Hendrix she held a recurring role as a teacher. Amid her many television appearances, the actress both co-produced and starred in "Good Intentions," a comedy about a scheming wife with an elaborate plan to save her family from financial disaster, featuring Luke Perry and LeAnn Rimes.
