Intent on bringing justice to Lieutenant Gormley after he is beaten by a mob outside his home, Danny and Frank enlist the aid of Detective Anthony Abetemarco (Steve Schirripa), who has a personal connection to the neighborhood where the attack occurred. Also, Eddie and Jamie witness a dishonest arrest, and Danny searches for a witness to testify against a dangerous gang leader. Cady Huffman guest stars.

Jim's friend Matt returns home with memory loss after serving overseas in the military where all of his friends died. Matt's comrades appear to Melinda to help Matt regain his memory.

After learning that the building in which their victim was found had six suspicious deaths over a 10 year period, Lindsay begins to question the science and wonders if the building is cursed. Mounting evidence seems to point to only one suspect, a doctor, who swears he had no interaction with the victim, even though their lives seem intertwined. (TV-14)

While Don is unreachable at a therapy session, the FBI and Charlie try to find the son of a music mogul whose kidnapper threatens to kill the boy if he is not paid a multi-million dollar ransom in one hour. In Don's absence, Megan takes charge and suggests that the team search through the mogul's sordid past and long list of enemies. Later, while the suspect leads the FBI on a maze through the city of Los Angeles, Charlie races against the clock to find the piece of the puzzle that will help find the kidnapper before time runs out. Meanwhile, during his meeting with his psychiatrist, Don is surprised to discover that he has control issues.

A body in a sinkhole leads the team to a robbery whose target holds a shocking secret.
