Sabrina Seara

Sabrina Seara was a Venezuelan actress known for her work on Spanish-language telenovelas. She was born Sabrina Seara Parra in Caracas, Venezuela. Her family came originally from Spain and moved to Venezuela after the civil war in that country. After high school, Seara spent a year studying Communications in the United States, planning to use the knowledge to help her pursue acting. She burst on to the scene as the lead in the telenovela "Guayoyo Express" (2005). Her film debut came in the controversial independent thriller "13 segundos" (2007), followed by another television role on the Spanish-language comedy "El gato tuerto" (2007). Seara again took the lead as the protagonist Francisca Náranjo, a nurse who fell in love with the wrong man, in the Venezuelan romantic telenovela "Los misterios del amo" (2009). Her first step into the villain role came as the virginal love rival in the comedy telenovela "Harina de otro costal" (2010). In 2012, Seara returned to the protagonist role as a young woman cursed to always choose the wrong man in the Venevisión telenovela "Válgame Dios" (2012). Telemundo tapped her to co-star in their love story "Pasión prohibida" (2013) alongside fellow Venezuelan actress Mónica Spear. Her bad side again came calling as Seara was cast as the villainness in both the quirky and inspirational "Nora" (2014) and the third and fourth seasons of the hit telenovela "El Señor de los Cielos" (2013).
