Ricky, Sue and a Trip or Two

Ricky Tomlinson and Sue Johnston explore the nostalgic and the new on three special road trips. In Liverpool, they visit Brookside Close, join footballer John Barnes for a pie-making masterclass and experience a big night out at Bongo's Bingo.

In the Midlands, Ricky and Sue visit the Belgrade theatre in Coventry, where Sue worked as a young actor. They also explore Birmingham through its curry and canals, and take a powerful visit to Shrewsbury Prison, where Ricky did time in the 1970s.

In north Wales, Ricky Tomlinson and Sue Johnston reminisce on childhood holidays, as they ride the Ffestiniog Railway, take an enchanting tour of Portmeirion, and head to Llandudno where Ricky challenges champion hurdler Colin Jackson to a race.
